Do you really need a low cost health insurance deductible?
Low cost health insurance deductibles are getting very expensive now days. It's a fact! At every turn it seems many Americans think they have to have the lowest deductible possible in case of an emergency. Many can hardly afford the premiums they are paying for a $250, $500, or even $750 deductible. Low cost health insurance deductible used to be a lot more affordable than it is today. Overall, if you look at how expensive health insurance has become you can see why much of the bankruptcies filed in the United States today are because of a medical situation due to an individual not being properly covered on a low cost health insurance plan.

Low cost health insurance consumers should know there is a way you can afford quality health care coverage! Did you know that by simply raising your deductible you could save 10 - 20% or more off your low cost health insurance premium each month. Think about it, if your like most of us you rarely use your plan except for the occasional doctors office visit or accident. Why not raise your deductible to say $2500 or even $5,000. The purpose for low cost health insurance is to protect us against an un affordable risk....many people could pay $2500 or $5,000 even if they had to pay it out. If your saving $50 a month, that's $600 a year and unless you go into the hospital or have a surgical procedure in 24 months...it actually starts paying you to have raised the deductible overall because our saving money. Check it out and price different options with your low cost health insurance plan and you may find that overall you may want to abandon that low deductible because you paid way more for it than you ever would a higher deductible.
